Edgun Leshiy .22
This guy at the gunclub, JBA, always brings the nicest guns. He seems to have a good taste for airguns. 'Unlike me' i`m about to think. Here`s his Edgun Leshiy. Great compact airgun. Accurate as any other!
FX KING .22
Today -november 15- the new FX King was released in the Netherlands. I shot the gun this evening on my gunrange SV Noarderloft. One of Krale`s employees brought a King to the range to give members the chance to shake hands with the King.
Every now and then you get your hands on a gun wich has a perfect fit. You kinda crawl in the gun and make it a piece of your body. Your first shots form a great group. That`s the King. It`s great.
FX CROWN .25
Some guy at the range came up with the all new FX Crown. Krale Staphorst asked if he wanted to do some testing. This guy didn`t mind. Not a bit.
I know that it has taken a few shooting sessions to get the Crown where it is now, but boy, is this a great rifle! I shot it yesterday. I didn`t get behind the scope like i wanted but i almost stacked pellet upon pellet. The gun is silent, it has a great trigger, it`s adjustable in every possible way, it has a great stock. Man, what a gun.

FX Impact .22
Seems like FX set the standard again with this completely new airgun with it`s possibility to change the calibre of the gun in minutes. Every main calibre is available, .177, .22, .25 and .30. You`re changing the barrel with just one screw. Its seven powersettings give the gun suitable power for every situation. This is one of the few bul pups with a trigger that is free from linking rods. Its 18 shot magazine is great, the smaller older spring driven mags fit too.
This airgun is ultra silent with its silencer and it features every option that shooters want. Adjustable trigger, lotsa picatinny rails, a match grade trigger, regulator, quick fill, 440 cc carbon bottle, smooth twist barrel and a cocking lever that leaves the shooter the possibility to stay on target.
FX Storm
I traded my Hatsan AT44-10 for a FX Storm. One of the weirdest guns i`ve ever had. What a gun folks, what creativity from FX! Some 600 have been made, most of that number went to the US market. This gun came in the Netherlands in a peculiar way. A friend of mine, RS, had a FX Revolution and two left hands. He broke his Rev, told the FX factory some beautifull story and made the deal that the Rev would stay in Sweden end RS got two(!) other FX`s in return. One of `m was this FX Storm.
The FX Storm has a one of a kind cocking system. The pistol grips moves afterwards to cock the rifle and index the 8 shot magazine. In that way you can shoot the entire magazine capacity in about 5 seconds without losing the target out of sight! This FX is fitted with the FX patented powersystem wich gives three different settings.
RS is a veteran, served in some deserts in the world, that`s why the gun ended up in Desert Camo.

At some given moment i needed to trade in the Storm, the custumer wanted it, but he wanted it in black. So i took all the Desert Camo of. What a job! But it gave a beautifull rat-Storm
I painted the Storm black again, but shooting mate FT painted it one more time. He`s a better painter than i am. But the Storm got it`s old appearance back.
Great looking gun.
Great looking gun.
RWS Excalibre
RWS is the US seller and importer of FX airguns, they have the tendency to give imported other names than they originally have. The Excalibre is very closely related to the well known FX 2000, the main thing that is different is the stock. I do not have much pictures of the gun, so enjoy `m!
The RWS Excalibre is a beautifull airgun but i sold the day i got it. The distance between de pistolgrip and the trigger is much to large for me. The stock is a hunterstyle stock and not a sporter style stock. The stock sucked badly.
This airgun had a great finish, a chique airgun. I sold it then, i wouldn`t sell it again!
FX Revolution
The FX Revolution is one of the first semi automatic PCP`s in the world. even though is an expensive gun, it sold great throughout the world. The Rev is a gun of fame. Mine is a third hand gun, and it`s giving some problems now. That`s not strange, this gun fired thousands of shots.
The Revolution gives an astonishing 72 shots on one fill and those shots are of very little deviation in velocity. The Rev gives an avarage of 272 m/s, and that`s pretty good. My Rev had to be taken apart for a few times, that`s not good but it gives a welcome opportunity to take soms pictures of the inside of a Rev. There aren`t too many pictures of disassembled FX Revolutions on the net.
Taking a look at some details. Left top. To get to the hammer the bottleconnector needs to come off. Top right. Remove the hammerspring adjuster...
Left bottom, the trigger needs to be removed to get the hammer out. Right bottom, the hammer, hammerspring, spring guide and adjuster.

When filling the rifle the compressed air travels bij a brass tube from the front end where the filling port is suited to the rear end where the bottle reservoir is. On the left picture you see the front end, on the right hand picture you see the rear end.
FX T12
For some reason ik like FX airguns. Like i stated earlier, FX is an inventive factory, and i like that. On the Dutch Airgunforum (where i live) someone sold a FX Typhoon T12. The gun had a carbon look, not bad but i am more fond of the original looks and i took the carbon wrap off. One of the reasons i like FX is because of the synthetic stock, i like the feel of those stocks.
A BSA Sweet 17-12X40 AO Contender scope came along with the gun. I took the carbon tape off, cleaned the lenses of the scope, filled the 12 shot mag and away i went. Great little gun. I like it allready!
I found the bipod somewhere in a drawer, cleaned the gun a bit and behold. A pretty little gun.
The first 100 metre experience with this ltlle gun was good. A sub 1,5" (35 mm) group with 16 grain JSB was the result. The T12 gives 270 m/s and that`s almost 28 fpe.
The T12 shares the magazines with the Revolution. It`s an unspeakable pleasure to have 12 shots in one mag. Loading a FX mag takes some time tho`...The T12 is a multi-shot rifle providing 12 shots in .22. A single shot version (T1) is also available. The Lother Walther match-grade barrel delivers good accuracy with every pull of the two stage adjustable match trigger. All this from a rifle weighing in at a little over 2kg. A lightweight synthetic stock is standard.
FX Typhoon .177
Last week i caught myseelf buying a FX Typhoon. Again. I had one in 2018, sold it because the gun didn`t move me.
The Typhoon in the pic above is the new one. Fitted with a BSA Ultra silencer.

There`s no diference between these guns. I bought this one to shoot in the backyard. It`s lightweight, accurate enuff and it is doing some 50 shots per fill. A friend has a.22 smooth twist barrel so i am going to change the calibre.
The scope on the gun is a 2-8x20 from BestSight. A cheap but good scope. I am using the gun on a 30 meter track and the Mildot scope is good enough for that.
The length of the Smooth Twist barrel is 500 mm, the length of the gun is 900 mm, its weight is 2,2 kilo. A Typhoon is as accurate as f*ck. The trigger is as smooth as smooth will come.

FX Maverick .22
Someday i decided i wanted a FX Maverick. I traded my beloved Dragon .50 to raise enough money to buy the Maverick. Buying a Maverick was the first step in a frustrating airgunning time. Taking a look at these pics i realize i have been a numbnut. I bought the gun, the gun irritated meand i sold it in three weeks. Now i know it`s better to be a little bit patient every now and then.
One day the side lever got loose. It took me a helluvalotta time to get it shooting again and it never shoot nice groups. Two regulators are two much for me. I`ve been shooting non regulated airguns for most of my life. Well actually over here in the Netherlands we connect the gun to the diving ottle through a hi pressure regulator so we`re shooting regulated anyway.
After three weeks i sold the gun and bought a AEA Challenger Pro. What a mistake, what a piece of crap of a gun.

I never succeeded to adjust the Maverick that i got to like it. I should have kept the gun....... means i have to buy a Maverick again some day.
FX Cutlas .22
One beautifull day i came acros the FX Cutlas on the Dutch airgunforum. The gun was located some 50 km away from me so i picked it up immediately. The Cutlas is a rarely seen airgun. It`s an 8 shot airgun with three different powersettings. Like the Cyclone.
The Cutlas, or FX6000, is extremely acurate. The Cutlas weighs 2400 gram, has a barrel lentgh of 500 mm, a total length of 900 mm, filling pressure is 220 bar. The three powersetting give 20, 30 and 45 Joule. The trigger is fabulous like all the FX`s.
There`s room in stock to hide two magazines. Ain`t that nice. The gun is cocked with a straight pull sidelever. The lever is pushed back in it`s closed position by a spring in the stock situated just below the magazine latch. The return spring is the weakest link in this gun. Just remove it. The gun works perfectly without the return spring.
When you ever have the opportunity to buy this gun just do it. It`s value for money.
FX Wildcat MKIII .25
After selling the dreadfull AEA i knew i wanted another FX. I bought this one. The Wildcat MKIII in .25. A simple airgun with just one regulator. The Wildcat is a pretty compact tactical witth its 790 mm The length of the Superior Smooth Twist X barrel is 700, max filling pressure is 220 and the MKIII has the new sideshot mag.
It has the power adjuster on the rear end, the bigger plenum and the externally adjustable AMP regulator. Like so many i cloudn`t get along with the standard AMP regulator and i bought a HuMa regulator with an even bigger plenum. I got rid of the .25 liner and bought a .22 barrel, probe and magazine. I dropped the HuMa to 100 bar and this gun groups like no other.
The HuMa regulator has to be fitted with its vent hole upwards. I haven`t got a clue why. And the o ring in the middle ahs to be removed. I figured that the removel of the o ring and the upwards position was a load of bull. It`s not. Do as HuMa says to get a consistent gun.
FX Dreamline Power Pup .22
The FX Dreamline is a gun in many appearances, you can make any kinda gun you want to with adding different modules, there`s the standard Dreamline with synth stock and the Dreamline with the laminated stock, build a tactical or build a bulpup. The Power Pup is something else. It`s the top of the Dreamline line. Very powerfull, carbon bottle, light weight, 700 mm barrel on the Sniper version and the huge power plenum it gives power up to 68 Joules or 50 Ft/LBS.
At every modern bulpup the cocking lever is somewhere halfway the gun but because the Dreamline is a modular concept with a base of a traditional long gun th lever with the bulpup versions are situated at the back of the gun. The synthetic tock stretches some 5 cm (2") so the lever`s postion isn`t all that bad as you ca see on the picture below.
The Power Pup has the all new AMP regulator wich can be externally adjusted. You do not have to get rid of the air in the carbon bottle because the AMP regulator pressure can be decreased fully loaded with air. There are two gauges on the right side of the gun, on for the pressure in the air reservoir and one for the regulator pressure. At the left side of the gun there are powerwheels for the powersetting. Loh, Medium and High on the front and on the ack there an adjuster for the pressure on the hammerspring. Works perfectly.
I had a lot of guns but the FX Dreamline Power Pup is one of the best. Hard hitting, acurate, a joy to shoot.
Falcon Prairie B
I never owned any Falcon but i had the pleasure to take some apart. And what a pleasure! The older Falcons are the most beautifull made airguns i`ve ever encountered.
The Prairie models are fitted with a bull barrel or shrouded barrel. The shroud contains a silencer. The Lighthunter has a skeleton stock for less weight. The Falcon i took apart had a shotstring that made people cry, 10 more or less decent shots on one fill. It wasn`t much work to get 25 shots from one filling but it sure was a nice chance to take a Falcon apart. Beautiful made airguns. Take a look!
And here`s the odd Lighthunter.
Gamo Compact
Even though i`m not into pistols i bought me one. A Gamo Compact match pistol in the match calibre .177.
The Compact is a decently priced pistol wich can not compete with traditional match pistols but it comes close. The trigger of this gun doesn`t come close to the real match pistols and though the sights are good they`re less sophisticated.
Hatsan AT44-10
Hatsan had a bad rep in the Netherlands, but some good and long review did turn that tide. Hatsan is wel respected and sells good over here now. The AT44-10 that i had did 10.000 shots without any problem. I have not many guns seen doing that.
Hatsan bought the mortal remains of Webley and put some gruesome springpiston pistols on the market, they didn`t serve themselves. Everybody hated Hatsan, untill a review on the Dutch airgunforum. In a period of a few weeks the Hatsan became popular, people wanted to shoot it and people bought it. Despite its trigger and its looks, people became fond of the Hatsan AT44-10
In the days that this Hatsan entered the market in the Netherlands power was one of the more important features of an airgun. The AT44-10 did standard 36 fpe, so there was plenty of power. The adjustable butpad, the pretty acurate pressure gauge, the threaded barrel, the removable pressure tube and the fact that the gun seemed indestructable made the gun what it became.
Hatsan gave the costumer some choices, wooden stock, synthetic stock, thumbhole or plain, .177, .22, .25, Pump Action too!
The easy to remove auto safety made the multi shot a fast shooting airgun. A mechanical safety is a ridiculous feature on a gun, but an auto safety on a multishot is hilarious. The AT44 got his follow up in de BT65.
Hatsan Blitz .22 Automatic
Hatsan flagship. One of the first full auto airgun in Europe. I had the honor to shoot it and ofcourse i was surprised. This tall (1150 mm) airgun spat out pellets automatically. Looking through the scope i saw targets dancing when 21 rounds hit it.
It`s possible to shoot the Blitz semi auto and actually i like that option even more than the full auto option. The carbon bottle contains 540 cc of compressed air, filling pressure is 3600 PSI (250 bar), the barrel is shrouded.
This package of fun weighs some 4 kilo and the barrel is 23" or 585 mm. According to Hatsan the muzzle velocity of the .22 is some 1050 FPS (320 M/S) and the gun needs at least 100 bar to operate.
