Cees
is a friend of mine. I got a lot of sympathy for the guy. Unconventional, seems to be hard but in fact he is well considerate, he`s loyal & honest, has seen hard times and seen `m again but he keeps standing straight. This guy`s hands are made made of gold. He is not a professional stockmaker or anything like that.
He made one of the most beautifull guns in the world, he never got the credits for it.
He never sought any credits, just another stock for just another gun.
I wanna present his work to you. You`ll be stunned. Maybe there`s lots of other people doing the same thing, i dunno, don`t wanna know.
This is the bloke i know.
Cees.
Oh yeah, there`s one thing about him. He`s a lousy photographer, i believe his wife Karin did a lot of that stuff.

Daystate Merlin make over
Evanix AR6
The stock of an Evanix AR 6 is a bit small, so waddaya do?
Ripley XL1
Next one was a Ripley XL1. When he got to collect the gun he told the seller he didn`t like the stock too much. Cees made cheekpiece smaller and lowered it, the front end of the stock got a schnabel and was remodelled, the checkering was removed, gave the gun some nice white spacers and did some work on the triggerguard. See for yourself.
The Airbear
The Airbear was a Daystate based custom. The stock was made out of exhibition quality Maple -tigerstriping from front to end, ebony for the spacers and wallnut front tip.
This gun was the uber-stutzen. The airtube disapeared in the stock, completely invisible. A concept never seen and never made. An airgun to be compared with the guns Theo Hegman has made. Beauty beyond compare.
The triggerguard and the bolt were custom made from solids chunks of brass....
Daystate/Beaumont/BAM benchrest stock.
Custom Benchrest Airgun .25
This is one of the latest projects and a great project t has been! The where-abouts of ths one is known and later this week this gun is coming to my little workshop to get rid of its tendency to leak. This project started in 2012 and was finished in no time.
This gun was made on a long version maintube of a Daystate X2. Cees qualfied the original breech as ugly so a bloke who can not be named from the Dutch airgunforum made a new one from one great chunk aluminum, with a custom probe and a custom bolt. He did a great job.
Pictures with the kind courtesy of Cees, Lambertus and the bloke who can not be named and his lathe and mill.

That chunk of aluminum became this.
And another "simple" custom part in progress. De barrelshroud made of stainless 316.
And suddenly the first picture of the gun appeared. The stock in all its beauty, the one-off breech matching the lines of the stock. Stainless triggerguard.
The stock got another paint job. And what a paintjob!
After a while the gun got sold and got sold again. One of the owners gave me permission to use pics he`s made. Look at the details of the gun.
Dunno, maybe you don`t agree, but for me this is one of the most beautifull airguns (Cees has) ever made.
The Dutch Rebel
The Dutch Rebel is one Cees` creations that got lost. I have never seen the gun again. Serial number 1. There will never be a number 2.
Let`s take a look at some pics.

The lower seems to be from a Daystate X2, those guns are great platforms to be creative on. Did ya see the bolt? Must`ve been working with a file till his shoulders ached, his fingers bled and his sweat poring.
Cees`s RAW!
Here are some pictures of the RAW Cees made a stock for. This is one of the few BR stocks he has made. The finish of this stock isn`t one you see every day. Once you`ve seen it you`ll never forget it!
